Pet Sitting
My approach blends care with professional reliability, ensuring your space is secure and your pets receive the attention they deserve.
Before you go away, I will come to yours for a meet and greet session so that we can discuss what you need me to do while you are away.
Daycare
I can visit your home to give your pet a break or company while you are away or at work. I'll pop into feed them, take them out for a walk or a play. I do not do group walks, ensuring your pet gets my full attention.
I can also provide a pet chauffeuring service where I can take them to the vet or groomers for you.
Equine
I have been involved with horses for most of my life, from managing a yard and staff, to turning and mucking out and grooming and exercising them.
I am experienced with competition horses competing at county level, so if you need and extra pair of hand please give me a call.
For your home
I have been holding keys for the last 30 years, so I can provide weekly insurance checks and for executors. If you are away I can let builders and other workmen into the property and remain until they have finished.
If you're coming down to your holiday home I will ensure that the place is ready and prepared for your holiday stay.
Smallholding Sitting
Coming from a farming family, I am familiar with the day-to-day routine of running a small holding or farm. I have experience of handling cattle, sheep, store cattle and pigs. I am familiar with milking both cows and goats.

We have a 4 bedroom detached property set within 3 acres of woodland. Gerald has looked after our property every winter since 2020, usually for 3 month periods and also periods of 3 to 5 weeks in June and September . We have a number of chickens and Gerald has also looked after them, changing their bedding , making sure they are fed and watered , are safe and if poorly looks after them.
He has stayed at our home during storms, power cuts and has had to deal with some difficult situations in our absence.
He collects our post, send us photographs of what has been delivered in case it is important. He collects and takes care of parcel deliveries for us.
Gerald is completely trustworthy and always contacts us if there is a situation that we need to be aware of.
Whenever we return after an extended period away , the house is spotless . He also takes care of odd jobs that need doing outside.
On a personal note he has a great sense of humour , is personable, kind, reliable and friendly.
I could not recommend him highly enough for house sitting and looking after your animals .
